Pumpkins

Last year we didn't go to a Pumpkin Patch with the little Monkey. He was little, we weren't all that into it, it just didn't happen. This year, however, we have friends who were going and invited us so we went along. I got a bunch of shots of the Monkey and also our friends little girl and their new little boy (being worn around by his Daddy, teehee!). I'll only post the photo's of Monkey man though as that's what everyone here wants to see anyway. :) He had a great time running around and picking up pumpkins and inspecting them. He tried to pick up a big 10 pound pumpkin but gave up quickly. :) We did end up coming home with 2 tiny pumpkins, one he picked out and one I picked out.


At first he wasn't so sure about this whole "Pumpkin Patch" deal.


Then he got the hang of it. :)






They had this little Jeep set up for the kids to sit in. Monkey LOVED it. He cried when Daddy took him out. :)




This is the pumpkin he picked out all by himself and wanted to take home. So take it home we did! :)








He really liked this doll made of corn.

Contemplating pumpkins.



A good time was had by all. I think next year we may even do it again! :)

On a completely unrelated note: I'm contemplating changing the background of the blog. I absolutely adore the monkey theme but I know the landscape oriented photo's get cut off and that bugs me to no end. So what do you guys think? Keep the same background and deal with the photo's getting chopped or search around for a new one that may not be monkey themed? Let me know your thoughts!
