When it rains it pours.

We knew it was only a matter of time before sitting turned into full, all out, hands and knees, stomach off the floor, crawling. Apparently that "matter of time" was a mere few days. Tonight Zach put the Monkey down on all fours and we assumed he would just flop down onto his tummy and army crawl where he was headed. He really switched it up on us! Not only did he not flop onto his tummy but he meticulously and deliberately crawled, stomach off the floor on his hands and knees, across the living room to get to the laundry basket. Tomorrow will be spent getting this new accomplishment on tape. Prior to this he would army crawl to where he wanted to go stopping short by a few inches only to then push up onto all fours and creep forward. Let me show you:

He is also pulling up like a champ. Now he army crawls (which will soon be regular crawling) to what he wants to pull up on (the coffee table, end table, learning table, laundry basket) sits, puts his hands on the object pulls to his knees, deliberates the benefits of getting higher, and usually, pulls from his knees to his feet. It seems we had nothing to worry about after all. He was just saving everything for his 11th month! :) I'll leave you with more pictures from yesterday evening when pulling fully folded clean laundry out of the basket was THE most fun game to play. :)

And my absolute favorite from the evening:
