We took the Monkey to the pool at our apartment complex yesterday. This was his first time in the pool and I must say it went swimmingly (I couldn't resist the pun!) At first Zach took him into the big pool and it was really cold and Monkey did not like it one bit. There was a lot of crying going on. Then we switched to the baby pool where the water was tepid and he had a ball! He even put his own face in the water! I'll be signing him up for infant swim lessons this week. :) We are thrilled that he loved the water! The only downside to the day was that I forgot to change my ISO setting on my camera. It was ridiculously high (1600) and should have been at either 100 or 200. Ah well. I got some decent pictures and next time maybe I'll remember to check that before I start shooting. :) I'll leave you with photo's from the day starting with the initial "I hate this! Get me out!" reaction. :)
Followed by: "Hey, this isn't so bad after all!"
Daddy tried to explain that Monkey shouldn't smell the water because "The water smells like hurt."
This is pretty awesome Dad! :)
