Monkey is running and climbing and starting to go up and down stairs (on the playground as we have no stairs in our house) but he's going up and down the stairs while holding on to the railings and NOT crawling up them! He wants to be like Mommy and Daddy. :)
We still don't know where we're going after Texas but we're hoping to be close to family again so that we can go home every now and then.
Monkey has his 18 month appointment next week and we're going to be looking at having an Early Intervention appointment as well. Monkey is still not talking. He signs "more" and "milk". If we ask him "What says Bow, Wow, Wow?" he says "A Da!". If we ask him if he's all done he says "Ah Da!". If I ask him if he wants something he says "Dah!" for yes or shakes his head for "No", but we can NOT get him to nod yes. Now I know these things all mean "Dog", "All Done", and "Yes!" but they do all sound the same. And if you're not either Zach or me then you wouldn't know the difference. We're both concerned about the fact that he's not actually talking so we're going to look into having him evaluated. I know he's a boy and boys seem to take their time with these things but we'd rather make sure nothing is wrong then not make sure and have something BE wrong. I just hate feeling like he's really behind.
