Super Dad/Husband

Well for those of you who don't know: I've been laid up with a splint and a pair of crutches since Wednesday evening. Apparently Monday night (during my gymnastics class) I managed to slip off the practice beam (that sits on the floor) and fold my foot under me and cause a chip fracture in my left foot. Long story short the "Doctor" at the Urgent Care Center missed this chip fracture when she looked at my x-rays on Tuesday and called me on Wednesday to tell me to come in for a splint and a set of crutches. They couldn't get me in to see the Orthopedist until Tuesday (the 9th) so I've been stuck in this situation all weekend. Zach's been great and helping me out. :) In fact yesterday when Monkey wouldn't nap and the apartment needed to be vacuumed Zach took it upon himself to vacuum while holding the Monkey! Male domesticity at it's finest!

And here's the reason for all this nonsense:

It looks worse than it really is. It's just really obnoxious because all I want to do is bend my foot! Point my toes! Stretch my ankle! Hopefully on Tuesday the Orthopedist will give me a walking cast. I can't imagine being on crutches while on our week in Pittsburgh!
