Monkey showed his Mommy how much he's growing tonight. For dinner we all had grilled cheese sandwiches. Monkey ate the. whole. sandwich. This is one sad Mommy! I cried when he finished it. If it were up to me I wouldn't have fed him a sandwich until he was 30. I was stunned. Zach cut it up into pieces and Monkey would take them and put them in his mouth and chew them all up. He wanted more when he was done too! So he had some yogurt melts and puffs and water. I can't believe how big he's getting, how much he's growing and the new strides he's making. It's all going way too fast! Where's my newborn who was so tiny? I sure do miss that little newborn. This phase is fun because he's learning but I still have a yearning for that tiny little baby every now and then. :) I'll leave you with a video of him babbling. Because let's face it, he's just too darn cute! :) And just to let you know, Zach is convinced this is Monkey saying "Dad" where as I beg to differ. I say he's repeating consonants but not really "saying" Dad. You be the judge. :)
I'm with you, Kaye. If you pointed to Zach and he said "Da" I would say he's saying dad. :) BTW - he's HUGE! Good grief has he grown!! Can't wait to see you guys in June. :D

ReplyDeleteOh come on, tell me he doesn't say "Dad" at the 6 seconds left mark!
